Synopsis

CreationStation.TV is a whole new concept in Children's entertainment, created by Peakviewing especially for the New Media Age.

CreationStation.TV invites children to learn by taking part and the taking part is disguised as game play.

It is only made possible because of the new technologies of digital interactive television and the World Wide Web.

Peakviewing has cleverly and uniquely applied these new technologies in a way that enables children to take control of their learning, making choices that personally suit, exploring a world of their own making.

CreationStation.TV is more than just the next hot ticket in children's entertainment. It is intended to be a comprehensive learning tool for children, parents and teachers and one that will mature in its nature and branding as the children themselves mature.

Designed from the outset for interactivity, CreationStation.TV consists of thirty series strands containing live action and animation, each series strand with its own educational bias, including music, science, natural history, art and technology.

Peakviewing has created a host of entertaining, educational formats designed to meet the various learning needs of children aged 4 to 9. Each educational strand has its own specially-designed characters and formats. For the older target group these include a greater emphasis on fashion, popular music and culture, sport and relationships.

CreationStation.TV is, at its launch, a commitment to a minimum of seven hundred and eighty traditional eleven-minute episodes, forming the basis of a possible eighteen unique, distinctive interactive series with episodes of variable length.

Each live action episode is designed to interlink and all of the episodes supplement, expand and augment the whole, creating the database upon which the interactive episodes and the website draw.

Although CreationStation.TV's best television format is interactive, each series is also individually available in a traditional broadcast format because the learning advances possible by virtue of the ability to interact are offered by a state of the art website in support of each series.

It is in the combination of the thirty series strands, however, that CreationStation.TV realises its full potential, allowing each child to wander freely in a world of its own making, skipping from learning experience to learning experience, across educational divides, between educational disciplines, following its own desires.

There is material enough in CreationStation.TV to constitute its own broadcast block, even its own channel!
