This American Civil war story follows a gang of beautiful but deadly women led by Hannah and a woman known only as 'The Widow', who wreak vengeance upon the society which has failed to protect them and their families from the horrors of war.

The women are pursued by an unwilling posse of law enforcers. Initially unaware that the women are their prey, two of the men (Wess and Jack) fall for the women's feminine charms.

The discovery that they are in fact the gang that they must bring to justice proves difficult for the men to deal with.

Wess is also forced to come to terms with the fact that the woman he loves is the person who killed his father and that he must see her brought to justice in order to save his own sanity.

The Widow begins to realise there is a lot more to life than revenge, and that this discovery can only bring about a tragic ending for all of them.
